Tax health plan offer
Some have called it a tax amnesty but HMRC call is a Tax Health Plan. The Revenue recently asked medical professionals to tell them if they have understated their income. Those who contact HMRC by 31 March 2010 to make a voluntary disclosure will be able to put their tax affairs in order simply and on the best available terms, says HMRC. Revenue explained that after this date it will carry out targeted investigations aimed at medical professionals who have not come forward. The warning has gone out that it might be the turn of the health professional now but clearly other sectors may follow.
