The fees shown in this section apply to UK students only.  Students who are resident outside the UK should contact the IAB Education Department at education@iab.org.uk, stating their country of residence.

Examination Entry Fees

For students sitting at the centre where they are studying:

• IAB Level 2 qualifications - £25 per Unit
• IAB Level 3 qualifications - £30 per Unit

For students sitting at IAB external exam centres:

• IAB Level 2 qualifications - £45 per Unit
• IAB Level 3 qualifications - £50 per Unit

See below for number of units in each qualification.

Students sitting examinations at a college where they are not an enrolled student should ensure they have the college’s permission to use their centre. Centres may reserve the right to charge an additional fee for the use of their facilities over and above the IAB fees.

N.B. Results letters will be issued no later than 10 weeks after the examination date.

Late Entry Fee

Late entries will be charged as follows:

• For students sitting at the centre where they are studying £55 per unit
• For students sitting at IAB external exam centres £70 per unit

Certificates

Candidates will automatically receive a certificate for each Unit they pass at no additional cost.

In the case of Computerised Book-keeping and Computerised Payroll qualifications, this will be a Full Qualification Certificate.

In the case of Manual Book-keeping and Manual Payroll qualifications, separate certificates will be issued for each Unit passed. Candidates completing all Units within a qualification will be entitled to apply for a Full Qualification Certificate at the following cost:

• Full Qualification Certificate/Diploma £10
• Replacement/Duplicate Certificates, Diplomas or Results Letters £10 per item

Diploma in Small Business Financial Management

• Full qualification registration Fee £80 or £10 per Unit
• Unit Certificate Fee (available on application for each Unit passed) £10 (up to 8 units)
• Full Qualification Diploma (available on application to candidates completing all eight Units) included in registration fee

IAB Level 2 Diploma in Personal Finance

• Full qualification registration Fee £50 or £10 per Unit
• Unit Certificate Fee (available on application for each Unit passed) £10 (up to 6 units)
• Full Qualification Diploma (available on application to candidates completing six Units) included in registration fees

IAB Level 2 Certificate in Business Enterprise

• Full qualification registration Fee £90 or £10 per Unit
• Unit Certificate Fee (available on application for each Unit passed) £10 (up to 11 units)
• Full Qualification Certificate (available on application to candidates completing the 10 or 11 specified Units for a full award). included in registration fee

Exemption Fees

• Exemption Fee £25 per application
