The 2018 annual Tutor Workshop was help in London on the 27th April 208 at the Ambassadors Bloomsbury.
The morning started off with a brief introduction from the IAB’s new Chief Executive Janet Jack. Janet introduced herself and the staff, as well as giving an overview of the day.
The first breakout session then took place, followed by a hot buffet lunch and then the second breakout session. After the second breakout session there was a small coffee and networking break before the administrations.
Mandy Quantrill discussed alternative softwares that would soon be available to centres.
Chris Wooster then covered IAB professional membership, the benefits and the requirements.
Rianan Hogg then spoke about the changes happening at the IAB, Quartzweb and IABonline. She conducted a Q&A session with the delegates to see how the IAB can improve the service provided to centres.
- Online examination timeframes have been reduced.
- Deadline for any QCF examination is 31st August 2018.
