AIA Directors Duty Breakfast Seminar
May 2 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
The Association of International Accountants (AIA) invite you to join them for a breakfast meeting at their office on The Watermark, Newcastle. This will be an excellent opportunity to network with other professionals and meet their staff while listening to a brilliant presentation from Trinity Barrister Richard Stubbs.
Richard will deliver a presentation covering breach of fiduciary duties by company directors. Attendees will gain an insight into what fiduciary duties are, when they arise and who owes them. Richard will also explain the different remedies for potential breaches of duty by directors.
Richard was called to the Bar in 2005 and is a member of Trinity’s Business, Chancery, Agriculture and Employment teams. He is recommended in the leading legal directories:
“Very well liked by clients,” “Excellent with clients, on paper and on his feet before the judge.” “He has an approachable attitude and blends pragmatic solutions with determined advocacy.”
Commercial Dispute Resolution, Chambers UK 2018.
“His experience includes directors duties, commercial fraud and shareholder disputes”
Commercial, Banking, Insolvency and Chancery Law, Legal 500 2017.
As well as being an accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator and member of Trinity’s ADR team, Richard is on the Government Legal Department’s Regional Panel of Counsel and is a member of the Football Association’s National Panel of Chairmen for Anti-Discrimination Cases.
This event will be free to all AIA members!
