IR35 following the Albatel and Atholl House Productions First-tier Tribunal cases
HMRC has targeted professionals and contractors that have set up their own companies to meet the requirements of their end clients. While HMRC have won some significant victories, there have been two notable decisions in 2019 that show that the tribunal will decide in favour of the taxpayer.HMRC have introduced new legislation and conditions for IR35 and medium sized businesses. Jacqui will confirm who is caught by the changes and what members need to keep in mind for their clients.

Attendees will be provided with our views on the most recent tax cases on IR35 and status, as well as an overview on the current regime surrounding IR35 and employer compliance reviews. The presentation will provide expert insight into how to protect clients and minimise the risks of an enquiry.
