  • In 2011 I enrolled at the UWI Open Campus in Barbados to pursue the Level 3 Diploma in Bookkeeping & Accounting.  Taking that first course was like a refresher for me which led to me taking another course.  As the studies progressed they became challenging but with the help of my tutor Mr. Brathwaite and Louise Scott my personal attendant at IAB it became easier and led to my successful completion of three Level 3 exams. I even attained my MIAB designation.  ...

  • I completed my IAB Level 1 Computerised Accounting for Business with Sage through my Adult Education College in Dec 2013 which I found to be OK but I didn’t feel that I got anything extra out of sitting in a classroom environment. I then considered learning through a distance learner and did a lot of research on the companies that actually run your courses. As Goldings were a Silver awarded company, I called them. I spoke with Di whose telephone manner was impeccable. ...

  • Distance learning was the perfect solution for me as i was able to fit it in around my full time job and enabled me to work from home when it suited me. Take IAB exams at your convenience

What does this mean?

This means that centres can arrange an examination in any month and on any day. This means that you can sit an IAB examination all year round!

What is the closing date?

For examinations all we require is a minimum of 5 weeks’ notice for UK centres and 8 weeks' notice for overseas centres, before the examination date. This allows us enough time to process your registrations and get the examination papers to you, while allowing you to run short intensive courses if you wish.

Many of our centres are already enjoying the increased flexibility that our examinations afford them and some centres have opted for rolling courses having exams every 5 or 6 weeks.

The examinations allow students to move up through the levels quickly as well as sitting the end examinations with a minimum wait from the end of the course thus getting better results.

There is no need to wait around you can book the exam to coincide with the end of your class. As well as giving you the power to run or take different types of courses.

So you have all the increased flexibility and at no extra cost!
