The role of HMRC as a creditor in voluntary arrangements: This webinar will provide a brief introduction to voluntary arrangements, both corporate and individual and HMRC’s policy as a creditor, to either support or reject proposals received. It will also cover debts that may be claimed, post insolvency returns, interest and Crown set off.

A guide to tax reliefs for the creative industry sector: An overview of the Corporation Tax reliefs available to production companies in the creative industry sector. Concentrating on eligibility, the calculation of the relief itself and importantly, how to claim and what information to supply to ensure a complete claim that HMRC can review promptly.

Disguised Remuneration: Addressing common issues: This webinar will address some of the common issues that have been raised relating to Disguised Remuneration and the loan charge, including settlement with HMRC.

Statutory Maternity and Paternity Pay: This webinar has been designed to provide guidance on what payments can be made and how to work them out. HMRC subject matter experts will be online during the meeting to take your questions.

Corporation Tax loss reform: HMRC will be covering the reform of Corporation Tax loss relief that applied from 1 April 2017. The focus is on the relaxation of relief for carried-forward losses, which can affect companies of any size. HMRC will talk about what companies can and can’t do with carried-forward losses under the new rules, with some worked examples and a question and answer session at the end.

Negligible Value Claims and Share Loss Relief: Looking at certain conditions that must be met for your clients to claim that an asset has become of negligible value. Also an overview of share loss relief.

Admitting tax fraud – Helping HMRC tackle it: This webinar will dispel some of the myths about how HMRC carries out fraud investigations. HMRC will inform you about what they expect from you and your client during investigations and look at how you can help your clients put their affairs in order if they have committed fraud.

Business expenses for the self-employed: This webinar has been designed to provide guidance on what is and isn’t classed as an allowable business expense and will include motoring and premises costs. HMRC subject matter experts will be online during the meeting to take your questions.

Class 1A NICs – Getting it right first time: This webinar will look at P11D(b)s, the common mistakes and what you can do to help HMRC process them in a timely manner to help you avoid receiving a penalty.
