IAB Member Natasha Penny FIAB AIAAP, of Busy Books, Westbury attended a glitzy glamorous event on Thursday in East London as a finalist in the Small Awards for the “At Your Service” category. The award looked for exceptional levels of service demonstration and evidence of strong customer engagement.
She however came away with not just 1 but 2 awards – receiving the overall “Small Business of the Year Award” which came as a complete surprise!
Natasha said, “I am completely overwhelmed, and cannot believe that our little team of ladies in Westbury Wiltshire have been selected from over 50 other successful small business finalists from all over the UK and all other business categories. We have been trading for 5 years and strive to serve a wide range of local business women and men supporting them with everything from admin, bookkeeping & accounts, to tax returns and complex queries. We are a bit unique being an all women team whom are fun and compassionate towards our customers and each other and balancing not only work life but families of our own”.
The Awards in their first year were founded and hosted by the Small Biz 100 team lead by Michelle Ovens MBE. They celebrate Micro Businesses, family businesses, the smallest and the greatest!
Presenter and comedian Sue Perkins presented the awards with representatives from Amex, FSB, Sage, PRS, Mercedes Benz and Indeed.
Facebook was proud to be the main sponsor of the inaugural Small Awards.
Congratulations to Natasha and the team at Busy Books!
