Xero has unveiled two major new tools to help accountancy and bookkeeping firms save time, and run their clients’ businesses in smarter ways.
It has launched Xero Tax, which gives users an innovative cloud-based solution for accounts and tax filing. It includes corporation tax and accounts production capability, and its features include fixed asset integration, Xero hotlinks, multi-user review, and e-signing.
Xero is also developing a self-assessment tax module, ready for general release for its UK partners for the tax year ending 2021.
In addition, Xero is offering Hubdoc, previously only offered as a standalone add-on, as part of its business edition plan from this month.
Hubdoc captures information from bills and receipts, eliminating manual data entry and ensures bank reconciliation is easy within Xero.
MD Gary Turner said: “Xero Tax and Hubdoc will make life easier, and give much-needed time back to accountants, bookkeepers and small business owners.”
He explained that the new tools will help create more accurate data and takes us closer to the Xero vision of ‘code-free accounting’.
