Revised schedule for HMRC Talking Points sessions in April and May 2017

Due to the pre-election period which commenced from midnight on Friday 21 April and will continue until the general election on 8 June, HMRC have revised the schedule of Talking Points sessions.

During this time HMRC can only communicate essential information and some of their Talking Points meetings have therefore had to be changed.

There are a limited number of meetings and further details can be found below:

Negligible Value: This meeting will provide an introduction to negligible value claims and share loss relief:

Thursday 27 April – midday to 1pm       Register now for this meeting

Thursday 27 April – 2pm to 3pm            Register now for this meeting

Charities and the Common Reporting Standard: New reporting obligations to tackle offshore tax evasion could affect your charity or a charity you advise. Find out from HMRC experts what you need to do:

Wednesday 3 May – 1pm to 2pm           Register now for this meeting

Capital Allowances and Vehicles: This meeting mainly covers the special rules for cars. It is a popular subject so HMRC are running two meetings:

Thursday 25 May – 11pm to midday       Register now for this meeting

Thursday 25 May – 1pm to 2pm              Register now for this meeting
