There are some advantages to working for yourself—freedom, control, flexibility. But let's be real: it can be a lonely road, too. There's nobody to share the quick coffee break with, nobody with whom to bounce ideas around, or to celebrate those little (and big) wins that make the hard work worthwhile.Here at the IAB, we get that—because we're finance professionals too. That's why we emphasise community so highly. Our monthly online coffee mornings are one way we can keep that sense of connection going, but there's something very special about meeting in person. And this is exactly what the IAB Ambassador Programme is here for.
A Friendly Face in Your Area
Up and down the UK, our wonderful Ambassadors host regular online social catch-ups for fellow professionals. For many, these monthly Zoom sessions are a lifeline—a chance to learn, share, and simply be in good company.
But this summer, we're taking that one step further.

For the first time, some of our IAB Ambassadors are inviting you to meet up in person in your closest city. It's your chance to move beyond the screen and form real-life relationships within your professional community.
